Hire Association Europe (HAE) is the leading trade association
for hire and rental companies in the UK and Ireland.
The Association is unique in that it brings together the
diverse sectors involved in hire; with membership from the
tool and equipment; plant; audio visual; catering and leisure;
and portable sanitation hire sectors and suppliers and manufacturers
for those sectors.
One of the main priorities for our members is Health &
Safety and to assist our members in achieving the highest
levels of Health & Safety we have developed the Safe-HIRE
accreditation scheme.
Safe-HIRE
is the HSE recognised standard for high levels of health,
safety and customer service provision across all sectors of
the hire industry, helping members to establish a clear safety
drive across their entire operation. If you want to be recognised
as one of the best performing HAE Members then apply for Safe-HIRE
accreditation.
HAE also provides guidance manuals, telephone
help lines, safety
leaflets, training
and consultancy
to members at little or no cost.
Specialised
insurance schemes are available to tackle those everyday
risks of your equipment on hire, and your commercial liabilities.

contract conditions, backed up by a legal
support help line brings to the smallest company the benefit
